Page Turning Thriller

Doppleganger is the second Jack Lockwood novel, and, like the first, is a fast paced action thriller.
This time Jack seems to have fallen in love, but if he expects it all to run smoothly then he is going to be disappointed.
A serial killer is on the loose, and at the same time a crime Tzar is after his head; maybe he shouldn’t have written that book after all.
The action flips from Canterbury to the depths of Wales as he struggles to find the answers to his questions, but someone is always one step ahead of him. Who?
Trying to untangle the various threads leads him down a road he doesn’t want to take, a suspicion, a feeling, and before he knows it he is embroiled in something from his worst nightmare. Can he resolve it in time to save his life? Has he kept things too close for his own comfort and safety?
The plot is well thought out and the story cracks along at a fast pace, the characters are well drawn and show their frailties as well as their strengths. The Chandler style narrative is guaranteed to keep you reading, and from the first page ‘til the last it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Congratulations to Geoffrey West for producing another first rate page turner, one that will keep you guessing right up until the end.
